Indirect Collection. Our services are designed to be used by attorneys, economists, insurance companies, expert witnesses, and other persons involved in insurance claims and legal proceedings (collectively, “Agents”). Agents may submit the personal information of another individual to us for purposes of generating an economic valuation report about that individual. To generate a report about an individual, we may collect the individual’s name, gender identity, date of birth, residential address, educational background, marital status, employment status, and occupation.

While this website is not intended for use by persons under the age of 13, Agents may submit, and we may collect, the name and date of birth of children under the age of 13 for the limited purpose of generating an economic valuation report. Children under the age of 13 may not submit any personal information to us directly.

Selling or Sharing of Personal Information

Juris Economics does not sell or share any personal information for marketing purposes. Your name, billing address, and payment information may be shared with our third-party payment processor for the limited purpose of completing a transaction authorized by you.

Deleting Personal Information

Juris Economics does not retain personal information submitted to us, or collected by us, for longer than is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the information was submitted or collected. If you would like to delete personal information that you submitted to us, or that has been submitted to us by an Agent, please send your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number to Info@JurisEconomics.com We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request.

Information Security

All personal information submitted to, or collected by, Juris Economics is hosted securely in the cloud. Personal information can only be accessed by the individual who submitted the information to Juris Economics and by Juris Economics’ personnel who have verified their identity using multi-factor authentication. Despite our best efforts, no internet transmission or cloud storage system is 100% secure. Juris Economics shall not be held liable if a third party illegally obtains your personal information that was submitted to or otherwise collected by us.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia

Due to the volume and scope of our current business operations, we are not subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy and Online Monitoring, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, or the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act.

Nevada Residents

Juris Economics does not sell the personal identifying information of Nevada residents.

Residents of the United Kingdom and the European Union
